Selective Functional Movement Screening
The body is a miraculous machine that relies on itself for stability, coordination, balance, and control. A small inefficiency in one area can disrupt other areas and lead to pain, loss of performance, and injury. Specialized training to identify the root cause will result in a return of function and increase in performance.
Class IV Laser

Through the use of a very thin, solid filament needle, we can address dysfunctional muscle tissue by targeting trigger points and returning balance and flexibility to your movement. This technique requires considerable training and can produce amazing results in as little as 2-4 sessions.
We take that crucial step beyond helping you simply recover from an injury, We address the root cause and educate you to decrease the likelihood of a recurrence. The Thrive staff is known for taking the time to explain applicable techniques and exercises to prevent future issues for our patients.
Recovering from an injury or surgery can be a difficult process. We take a team approach to bringing you the most current treatments available, with a focus on individualized care.
Work environments can be demanding, not only for what they require you to do, but what they limit you in doing. We are your advocate and will assist your medical team in coordinating appropriate care and return to work.
It's no secret that sports and other recreational activities can lead to injuries. Thrive's sports injury screenings are custom-designed for schools, affiliated organizations and individual patients. Sports injury screenings are often paired with Functional Movement Screenings (FMS), DorsaVi wearable motion sensors, and Skilled Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) which are used to evaluate athletes' movement patterns, functional limitations, and joint stability when in motion.
The goal of any sports injury program is to help athletes of any age perform to the best of their abilities and to prevent injuries before they happen. Our programs are led by licensed physical therapists who customize each program specifically for the participants' goals. When applicable, our team of experts will work with coaching staff to properly train and help implement any of our custom sports injury programs.
Sports injury screenings and functional movement screenings can be customized for:
Adult recreational leagues
Youth sports leagues
Gyms and fitness studios
