Kevin Calvey PT, DPT

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Joseph's University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. He began his career with the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, and has enjoyed treating patients in the Middletown, Delaware community since 2007. 
 

Kevin has specialized certifications and training in spine care, manual therapy, dry needling, the McKenzie Method, Litecure Laser Therapy, Kinesio Taping techniques and worker's compensation cases. He focuses on the entire person for all injuries, and places high importance on educating his patients to prevent future injuries.

A married father of four boys, Kevin founded Thrive Physical Therapy in 2018 to fulfill his dream of running his own clinic and treating patients like members of his own family.

Lisa Gutowski  PT, DPT    Physical Therapist

Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2009. She has a special interest in post-surgical rehabilitation and orthopedic injuries. She is certified in vestibular therapy from the American Institute of Balance. Lisa has a passion for getting to know her patients and  helping them return to their highest level of function.

Tina Dix  PT, DPT, CMTPT    Physical Therapist

Tina earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree at Widener University and has been licensed in Delaware for over 7 years working in the outpatient setting. Tina gained valuable experience in treating post-operative, neurological, worker’s compensation, automotive, and sports related injuries. 

 

Tina continued her education and received her level 3 certification in trigger point dry needling. She prides herself on her ability to treat patients with chronic pain to improve their lifestyle and well-being.

Cameron Dixon PT, DPT     Physical Therapist

Cameron received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Delaware and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Arcadia University. He has a passion for healthcare that continues to grow each day. He enjoys treating patients from diverse backgrounds and loves to make connections with all who he meets. He takes a patient first approach to ensure each patient is heard and gets comprehensive treatment for injuries.

Jess Santiago, PTA    Physical Therapist Assistant

Jess partners with Kevin and Julie to provide physical therapy services, implement selected components of treatment and make modifications in selected interventions, either to progress the patient as directed by Kevin and Julie, or to ensure safety and comfort. Jess is a highly-respected PTA who has worked in Middletown for the last 7 years.

Maribel Price, PTA    Physical Therapist Assistant

Maribel is a PTA with over 15 years experience in outpatient and inpatient settings, treating patient with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses. Her special interests are balance training and fall risk education, but her primary goal is to ensure all of her patients reach their highest level of function.

Andrew Cho, PTA    Physical Therapist Assistant

Andrew is a physical therapy assistant with over 9 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting as well as in a school setting working with children with special needs. He graduated top of his class and is very knowledgeable in treating various conditions. He is passionate about patient education, good health, and exercise. Andrew uses a variety of manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and to improve his patients’ overall wellbeing. Putting words into action, Andrew also participates in a variety of fitness based competitions.

Brian Brown, PTA    Physical Therapist Assistant

Brian is a physical therapy assistant who interned at the University of Maryland as well as MedStar Health. A graduate of both Del Tech and Chesapeake College, Brian is thrilled to join the Thrive team and pursue his passion of helping others.

Chrissy Lee, Office Manager

Chrissy is responsible for ensuring each and every Thrive patient has the best experience possible. From getting you an appointment that works with your schedule, to explaining your insurance or out-of-pocket costs, she is your dependable patient care representative. Chrissy also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University.

Maria Kourkoutos, Stretch Coach

Maria assists Thrive therapists with non-clinical tasks while caring for individuals. She helps patients move, keeps our treatment areas organized and clean, assists patients with light exercises and records progress. Maria loves to help others and gives Thrive patients and athletes a wonderful experience while in the clinic.

Eric Schulte, Medical Scribe

Eric assists Thrive therapists with note taking and general scribing, as well as other non-clinical tasks. He allows the therapists to provide their full attention to patients and give others the time and care they deserve. Eric loves being involved in the community and helping others reach their full potential.

Julie Hambling, Medical Scribe

Working in health and fitness for the last three years, Julie is passionate about the well-being of others! Julie assists Thrive therapists with note taking and general scribing, as well as other non-clinical tasks. She allows the therapists to provide their full attention to patients and give others the time and care they deserve.

Dani Boedeker  PT, DPT     Physical Therapist

Dani earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Pittsburgh, Masters of Science in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science from the University of Delaware, and most recently her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware, graduating at the top of her class. She loves to treat a variety of patients including orthopedic injuries, athletic injuries, pediatrics, and post-operative patients. She enjoys spending her sessions getting to know all of her patients the best that she can to ensure she is helping them reach their specific goals and maximize their potential. This also includes providing patient focused education to prevent regression and reinjury.
